In these 10 years, GIST-NAIST joint symposium has been held at GIST or NAIST, alternately. Since last year, NCTU-NAIST joint symposium also started. The next international joint symposia will be joined to become the GIST-NCTU-NAIST joint symposium at NAIST. It is very fortunate that the next international symposium will be supported by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). In addition to the symposium, other events for promoting friendship among us, especially our students, will also be planned.

- GIST-NCTU- NAIST Joint Symposium 2010*
Scientific session, GIST-NCTU-NAIST Joint Symposium 2010, is included in the entire Internationl Joint
Program on Nov. 15 and 16, 2010.
- Oral presentation time by staff members:
Lectures by staff members 30 min including discussions (~5 min)
- Poster presentation by students & award:
The size of the poster boards is 850 mm (width) x 1750 mm (height). Please prepare the poster within
the board size. Several excellent students will be awarded. For the award, professors will judge the
students' presentations.
- Registration
Please pay for the registration fee, which includes the expenses for breakfast, limousine bus to the
airport etc., at the registration desk on Nov. 15th and 16th (9:30~ Registration)
Registration fee:
Staff 15,000 JPYen
Students 7,000 JPYen
We will provide the receipt for the payment. Please prepare cash in Japanese Yen for the
registration in advance.
- Important dates
Sep 17, 2010: Deadline for preliminary registration by e-mail including a tentative title.
Students will announce their provisional intention to join the Lab. Stay program.
Oct 8, 2010: Deadline for the final submission of a camera-ready abstract by e-mail.
At the same time, students who want to take part in the Lab. Stay program inform us of
your desired laboratory.
Detailed information of the program will be open on our Web site
at the beginning of September.
