This study proposed a miniaturized spectral imaging system for fundus detection. Our spectral imaging system includes a 5-channel mosaic filter and a CMOS image sensor. When using a fundus camera for video recording, we can acquire a succession of images with the same detecting region under different bandpass channels because the eyes constantly move involuntarily. We confirmed through images of a moving target that it is possible to retrieve the spectrum of each pixel by combining multiple frame images. Subsequently, we enhanced the spectral resolution higher than the original by applying the developed algorithm.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Prof. Ohta and Asst. Prof. Takehara for their kind support and very helpful advice in my research. Also, I would like to extend my sincere thank you to all Photonic Device Science Laboratory members for their constant support. This award is a great honor, encouraging me to continue my research.
