In the Supramolecular Science Laboratory, we are performing research related to many fields, including biofunctional chemistry, nanobiotechnology, protein science, coordination chemistry, organic synthesis, bioinorganic chemistry, photochemistry, vibrational spectroscopy, molecular engineering, etc. We are interested in constructing supramolecules for the new age, developing new photoactive biomolecules, and elucidating the unknown mechanism of protein denaturation related to Alzheimer’s disease, mad cow disease, Parkinson disease, etc. We are also developing new techniques related to these functions and chemically constructing well-defined functions of living organisms.
