Research in 2017

...Assistant Prof. Yamada joined our lab

Asst. Prof. Sohei Yamada joined our lab.

My name is Yamada and I started my new position as a specially appointed assistant professor in October 2017.

After completing my PhD at the Graduate School of Biological Sciences, I joined this lab, which I had been collaborating with since my master's degree.I hope to combine molecular biology and cutting-edge measurement techniques (and later tennis) to clarify the mechanisms of organismal formation.

Yoichi Uekuri
It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Uekuri, a small eater of rice, but a rather good eater of noodles.
I recently climbed up Kyoto Tower and reaffirmed my appreciation of the beauty of Kyoto.
They are the most important people in the world.
The thrill of the mountain roads on the way to school is becoming an addiction for me these days, and I want to drive safely to school. Thank you for your support.

Akari Koyanagi
My hobbies include watching dramas and checking out the new products at convenience stores and eating them.

Tomoyuki Suzuki
I'm Suzuki, who tends to wear sweatshirts to school because it's too much work to figure out what to wear every day.
Since entering school, I have been trying to find ways to save 500 yen and do muscle training, but they don't last long, so I'm looking for ways to keep going.
Hobbies include going to karaoke and playing baseball. I'm a very happy member of the team.

Yoshiya Takashima
I'm Takashima.
I am an easily influenced personality, and many of my words and actions have their origins in a source. I'm rather fond of Nara.

Misuzu Namoto
My name is Namoto, and I'm afraid that every year the size of the bugs I encounter gets bigger and bigger. My hobbies are TV, movies, and baking(including eating). I'm looking forward to working with you.
